By Robert Davis Hello, It's me again, the revealer of police tactics and procedures. I was asked the other day by a loyal reader ' why do you reveal the tactics of the police'. The answer is simple and twofold: First, police tactics and procedures are not secrets. There are taught in the academy but most of these laws are common sense laws. The second reason is that as most of you know, I was once a rogue officer and have devoted my life to reveal all unfair police tactics, with an emphasis on unfair. If an officer issues you a ticket, or arrest you unfairly with full knowledge of his unfairness, I wish to assist you in not only nullifying the citation or arrest, but to have that cop taken off the streets. Why? He's a threat to my child, me, and your children. And more importantly, if a cop takes these liberties he may graduate to bigger liberties. That's exactly what I did. I move from little things to bigger things. It absolutely ruined my life. I lost a house, wife, family, and career. And I have no doubt that I seriously affected the departments' image from a public affairs standpoint. Now, since that's out the way, let me quit my raving and give you the answer. If you are speeding excessively or committed a felony while driving down the highway or local street in let's say Illinois, the police can pursue you to Indiana, Kentucky, Florida, over to Texas, up to Kansas, sideways to California and if possible China!
If the police is in what they call 'hot pursuit' it doesn't matter. Of course before he gets to China he would have called for other departments to join the chase, but the point is he can go wherever you go. Now before I close I would like to also give this one tip. If stop by a police car, pull over, take the ticket and don't run. And guess what, in many cases a honorable and compassionate cop will simple give you a warning. Sorry folks, I've never seen or knew of a rogue cop giving warnings. I never did. Drive safe, obey the laws, and arrive home safe. Read my book called COP OUT, you might learn something.
