By Greg London Are you tired of striking out with women? Are you clueless about what it takes to pickup hot girls? Well comb the gel out of your hair and put the Porche key back in your pocket. It's not how much money she thinks you have. Picking up women is not rocket science. It's a simple step by step process. Women are people. People are ruled by basic laws of psychology. Use psychology correctly and she will give you what you want. Use it incorrectly and she will be confused and probably creeped out. Here is the simple three step pickup method. STEP ONE: Be confident: Confidence is king. Walk like you have a purpose. Make eye contact. Don't look away when she looks at you. Smile and say hello. So she is beautiful, so what. She's still just a person. If she thinks you are intimidated by her you're done before you start. So show confidence even if you don't feel it. The guy in the bar who buys expensive drinks and flashes his diamond ring is not confident. He's trying to buy something. The woman who goes with him is looking for sugar daddy and when sugar daddy runs out of money he runs out of luck. STEP TWO:TALK: Chit cat. Make small talk. Don't launch into your life story. Keep it light. Make her laugh. If it's a bitter cold day rub your hands together and say something like; "Man I could really go for some ice cream right now." Remember, smile and make eye contact. Get her talking, but be casual about it. Don't ramble on in a high pitched voice. Don't tell her every intimate detail of your day. Just chat about nothing and get a smile out of her. If she sees your confidence she will fall out laughing at your dumb joke or silly comment. People are all the same. Everyone wants to get in on the fun. Convince her that you are having fun and she will want to join in. STEP THREE: Introduce yourself and go for the pickup: "I'm Greg, do you wanna get a cup of coffee? There's a place right around the corner." For that sexy neighbor downstairs, "I'm Jeff, I live upstairs. I was gonna order a pizza and watch a DVD. Wanna join me?" For a girl you already know or see around a lot: "Are you going to be at "Pete's" tonight? We can buy each other drinks." Avoid traditional dating. I'll say it again, "Avoid traditional dating at all costs!" Keep it casual. The structure of traditional dating is too high pressure. Also, you can't have a bad date if you never really have a "date". The most important thing is "DO IT!" Start approaching women right now. Remember, confidence is sexy. If she says no to the pickup ask for her phone number. If she says no to that, give her yours. Then smile, say "Okay, maybe I'll see you around. Bye." and move on to the next woman. Don't take a no personally. Don't get mad and cuss her out. For God's sake DON'T BEG!!! She could have a thousand reasons for saying no that have nothing to do with you. Remember, women are people. People have lives. She might say yes next time. Getting mad only hurts your chances of success in the future. Don't treat a woman like a one shot opportunity. You'll come across as desperate. Remember, you must appear confident. Confidence is key and confidence is king. I'm just an average guy who got sick of being a zero with the ladies. Years of trial and error, reading books on psychology, getting laughed at and my face slapped have given my great insight into the female mind. What is Organic Chicken?
By Davinos Greeno People must have heard about the nasty conditions which broiler chickens - which are bred for their meat - are raised in? These chickens have no more floor space than a sheet of A4 paper. Chickens are over-fed to reach slaughter weight in six weeks, when it would normally take four months. Modern intensive systems of poultry production have produced cheap meat for the consumer - but at a price. Inside the intensive chicken houses, which are appearing in increasing numbers in the countryside, up to 40,000 birds are crammed, at 2 birds to the square foot, into a single windowless building, with almost continuous low levels of artificial light, they are then given drugs to speed up their rate of growth. Keeping so many animals packed together in such a stressful environment can only contribute to their rates of infection. It seems logical that the Chinese flu infections that we were seeing transmitted to humans comes from this same intensive farming. It isnt necessary to produce food in this way. Organic farmers do a number of things to ensure that chickens are reared as naturally as possible. For starters, antibiotic growth promoters cannot be used but sick organic birds must be treated with appropriate veterinary medicine, so they can be given antibiotics if theyre very poorly. But they cannot be given drugs on a regular and routine basis, something that almost all non-organic poultry have to endure. Organic poultry is reared on a specially formulated feed containing only cereals, vegetable protein, a small amount of fish meal, and a vitamin/mineral supplement. These chickens are often guaranteed to be fed on feed which is free from genetically modified feedstuffs (GMOs). To be fully organic, chickens must be fed a diet containing grain which has been grown organically, without artificial fertilisers or sprays. Such feed is expensive, and therefore organic chicken is more expensive as well. Also, on Soil Association registered farms, the number of chickens housed in a single shed is restricted to 1,000. A non-organic intensive chicken farm may have as many as 40,000 in the same shed. Organic birds are kept free-range, having continuous daytime access to clean pasture, except in adverse weather. Non-organic birds are almost always locked up night and day. In addition, the Soil Association insists on full and clear labeling of processed chicken products. They are able to trace back to the farm all ingredients used in any Soil Association chicken products. Their organic certification standards state that food must undergo as little processing as is practical.
Organic standards are legally binding. All organic businesses must be licensed by law, and are fully inspected at least once a year. Lawn Care and Fertilizer Tip to Create a Great Lawn
By Jeanette Joy Fisher One of the things homeowners take the most pride in is a great-looking lawn. It can be time-consuming and frustrating, but with persistence, you can keep your lawn looking beautiful. Here are a few lawn care tips. Begin by raking up leaves and cleaning up all debris. If there are high or low spots in the yard, level them. This will give your lawn a much more lush and uniform appearance--it levels the playing field, so to speak. Use a good grade of topsoil to fill any holes, since you want your grass to have the best medium possible in which to grow. If the yard has bumps, cut an X in the rise and then peel the sod back. Using a garden trowel, scoop out enough soil to level the area, and then push the sod back into place. Tamp the sod down firmly, to bring the roots into good contact with the soil, and then give the area a good soaking to promote root growth. If you find bare spots, you’ll need to add grass seed. Make sure that the new seed will be tolerant of your area’s weather conditions, and also for the particular spot where you’ll be planting it. Some grass seed is tolerant of a fair amount of shade, for instance, while other seed needs full sun. Also take into account how much traffic the area will be getting, because some grasses are less tolerant than others of being walked or played on. To maintain a lush, green yard, you’ll probably need to water it at times. When you do, water it deeply early in the morning, so the water will soak down to the roots and not just be evaporated into the air or merely wet the surface, causing shallow root growth. You want your grass to have deep, healthy roots. When you mow the lawn, never cut off more than a third of the blades, and make sure your mower’s blade is sharp. For photosynthesis, grass needs an adequate blade surface area and if you remove too much, your lawn will be susceptible to disease. Most of all, keep a close eye on your lawn’s health through regular inspection. There's an adage that says, "The best fertilizer for a piece of property is the footsteps of its owner." That's certainly true of a vibrant, healthy lawn. Look for trouble spots, learn to recognize problems, and address them immediately when you find them. Copyright © 2006 Jeanette J. Far Infrared Sauna Technology Comes of Age
By Rita Lambros-Segur, M.H. What exactly is infrared, or radiant heat? No need to worry - it has nothing to do with either ultraviolet radiation (which gives you a sunburn and damages your skin) or atomic radiation (the kind from a nuclear bomb). Radiant heat is simply a form of energy that heats objects directly through a process called conversion, without having to heat the air in between. Radiant heat is also called infrared energy (IR). Our sun is the principal source of radiant energy that we enjoy daily (some more so than others). Have you ever been outside on a partly cloudy spring day of about 50 degrees F. and felt quite comfortable until the sun was suddenly obscured by a cloud? Although the air temperature had not had time to drop, you felt chilled, as the cloud would not let the warming infrared rays through to reach you. Infrared light is an important energy force that promotes healing - a raising of the white blood cell count. Why is that good? Because more white blood cells mean greater immunity. Greater immunity means greater health and a better quality of life. Today we're seeing new technologies employing far-infrared energy in health care products an din clinical protocols such as hyperthermic therapies for detoxification and cancer treatment. Energy medicine is an ancient practice and Chinese health practitioners would use healing touch therapies for improved cell growth, DNA synthesis and protein synthesis in cells. Although these ancient practitioners did not know the technical terms as to why their therapy improved health, they were sure their patients got better. Yes, the human heat from their touch increased immune defense response in which white blood cells surround and ingested small living things (like bacteria) and cell wastes. Far-infrared heat follows the same principle: warm the injury site to speed healing. Why is infrared heat better than say, a heating pad? Because the vibrational energy of far-infrared light is unlike that of the heat energy we use for everyday functions, like cooking. Boiling water could actually damage our skin but it doesn't heat internal organs.
Sunlight heats us in a profound way, however, because it contains penetrating far-infrared rays as well as the full range of energy in the electromagnetic spectrum. I know what you must be thinking - how can I benefit from the sun's infrared rays? I don't live near the equator. Besides, I thought the sun's rays were damaging to my skin. While it's true the sun's rays should be used judiciously, especially by fair-skinned people, the fact remains that infrared radiation promotes health. A few companies have captured the essence of this healing energy by creating spruce saunas and smaller wraps for localized healing in specific areas of the body. Some of these spruce saunas have been created using wood that contains no pesticides for better tolerance and detoxification. Over the past 25 years, Japanese and Chinese researchers and clinicians have done extensive research on infrared treatments and reported many provocative findings. Whole-body infrared therapy has been used for over 80 years by German physicians in an independently developed form. Among other benefits, whole-body infrared thermal systems make it possible for people in wheelchairs, or those who are otherwise unable to exert themselves, or who won't follow through on an exercising and conditioning program to achieve a cardiovascular training effect. This also allows for more variety in any ongoing exercise program. As for infrared's outstanding effect on caloric consumption and weight control, we find that burning from 600 to 2,400 calories in a 30 minute session to be quite routine. The infrared thermal system might then simulate the consumption of energy equal to that expended in a 6 to 9 mile run during only a single session. This would be invaluable for those who don't exercise and those who can't exercise yet want an effective weight control and fitness maintenance program. Evidently the flushing of toxins from the lymph areas and from the largest organ of elimination, the skin, are the source of many these health improvements. Toxemia has been targeted as the number one reason so many of us are ill. With the elimination of these poisons from deep within the body, the organs can then do their job unhindered. Although any health-restoring strategy involves some type of cleansing diet and supplements, infrared therapy would definitely be called for to augment the process more efficiently. The list of health enhancements through the use of infrared therapy is impressive and it includes: relief from all forms of arthritis, increase in the extensibility of collagen tissues, relieves muscle spasms and joint stiffness, increases blood flow, assists in resolution of inflammatory infiltrates, edema and exudates, weight control, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, coronary artery disease, blood circulation, ear, nose and throat conditions, skin conditions (including cellulite) and all-around beauty treatment. Is infrared therapy a cure-all? Well, I don't believe that. But it's value cannot be ignored. Especially in view of the fact that millions suffer from toxic overload and its vast array of symptoms. Perhaps many more will come to view it as the body care system of the future just like NASA's astronauts and newborn babies have. Article by Rita Lambros-Segur, M.H. of Electrical Body, Inc.
